Primary hazards and measures  ( as per MSDS)

Here, we are going to see secondary hazards which due to human error

1. before started to use the spray paints what we do usually we will shake it very well .sometimes shaking may not working very well . So,that time workers will use shortcut

  • They will try to remove the cap and making hole on the cylinder body to release the pressure. If they try above ideas .it will lead to serious hazard ( explosion )because spray paint container was pressurised. Lead to serious injury to personnel.
2. Unsafe disposal of empty spray containers (actually not empty)
  • Most of them thinking once pressure low it is empty because of lack perception on the risk .  Here I am telling you team . There is refugee vapour( flammable vapour) that will remain in the bottle . So it may lead to fire hazard.

We need to teach our workers about secondary hazards of using aerosol spray paints in order to avoid unwanted incidents .

All the best
